Over the years, we have built extensive clamp collection and tried everything. This is one of the best! The main bracket is solid aluminum. There are four ¼”x20 mounting points which allow a wide range of camera angles. The removable ball head can be positioned on the end of the screw, the angled portion of the frame and both flat sections. As far as clamps go this one is very sturdy and versatile.
A very unique feature is the dial screw on the frame of the clamp. This allows you to mount a camera at any horizontal angle, if you decide you don’t want to use the ball head, which would give you more rigid support in various situations.
The clamp attaches to round or flat objects up to 2 ⅜” diamater.
The chrome screw may rust a little outdoors, which will not affect the performance of the clamp.
