Returns

We are proud to say we rarely have items returned. We test every camera before shipping and we work with many of our customers before purchase to make sure they are getting exactly what they need for a successful video project. We also try to share knowledge, so cameras are set up correctly to avoid unintended results.

Things happen and we totally understand. If you need to return your unused items for any reason, we won't ask any questions. Please do so within 30 days of your order, pay for the return shipping or ask and we will send a label. We understand project cancellation and ordering more cameras than needed. We know how a last minute cancellation feels and we want to be here for your future projects.

Open box, used item return. Please consider our situation and past experiences. We value every customer, but there are some who don't reciprocate good feelings for long.  Cameras have been purchased, used for a short time and returned as no longer needed, they didn't work out as planned or there is no reason given. Typically these cameras come back looking like they spent a week at Burning Man which has happened. Then we check out their social media and guess what... "My Time Lapse Week at Burning Man" is featured.

There are instances of problems or unsatisfactory results. Keep in mind, each camera is tested. If you are starting a project tomorrow, today is a bad day to discover an issue, our testing greatly reduces the potential for issues on your end. Here are some common and avoidable reasons, a problem, is likely not the cameras fault...

• 4K footage requires processing power for playing and editing. If the playback gets stuck, glitches, stutters and possibly has a low resolution appearance, your computer may not have enough resources to render and play 4K video. Just because you can watch 4K video, doesn't mean you can edit 4K video.

• Camera movement can destroy the best video. A ten foot, two inch diameter PVC pipe, a street light, flagpole or a tree branch may seem like a good mounting locations. However, any movement looks worse in a time lapse, with a gap between frames, motion is amplified and your footage may appear jittery.

• Time lapse videos are typically played at 30 frames per second. If you capture once a day, 30 days will pass in one second. If you capture once an hour, 30 hours will pass in one second. It is very common to underestimate your capture frequency. Discovering this a month into your project, then reviewing our return policy to find this tidbit is way too late. It's always better to have more footage than not enough.

• We don't want you to be in a position to return your items. If you are reading this before purchase and have cold feet, please contact us and we will help you determine your needs.
